If you have sallow skin, (pale, yellowish tones) pick a foundation that disappears on your
face. Once a woman is past 40, for example, she may need to choose a
foundation with slightly more pink tones than before in order to
counteract aging sallow tones in her skin. Unfortunately, most
makeup artists and cosmetic companies have an aversion to pink and spend
vast amounts of money in publicity ads pushing tawny colored blushers
and golden toned foundations. In fact To counteract your skin tone
choose a pink or rosy blush.
As you get older your natural color fades. Brighter colors needed!
Don't pump your mascara wand into the mascara container. This pushes
air into the container and makes the mascara dry out faster. Gently
insert the wand, turn two or three times, then remove and apply to the
lashes.
