secure temporarily a hem that has come unraveled and there's no time to
sew.
Cut the tape into several smaller
strips and apply along the area where the hem is falling. If there are
any long loose threads, just tuck those up inside the tape, so you can
deal with it properly later when you have more time.
Or you can pull a length of toupee
tape from the roll, apply it to the hem edge of the pant leg, and pull
away the adhesive backing to expose the sticky part. Turn the edge up,
sticking it to the pant leg and leaving a finished edge.
